Emotional honours and a journey through the company's history

Following the welcoming speeches, Lena Resch personally presented the honours. She emphasised the close many of those present have with the company - including herself. ‘I turned 40 this year - just like two of our employees who have been part of the HKS family for 40 years. Many of you have known me me as a small child. It's a special feeling to feel this connection to tradition and the family business,’ says

The honours not only highlighted the impressive length of service of the employees celebrating their anniversaries, but also the ‘concentrated knowledge power’ at HKS. In total, the long-serving employees bring over 400 years of experience with them
- a valuable treasure for the company.

The presence of two employees who had been ill for a long time and had accepted the invitation was particularly moving. Their reunion caused great emotion in many of those present and made for a very moving moment.

Long-standing employees as pillars of the company

Some of the honoured employees lived through the ‘tough and instructive founding years’ of the company and are still instrumental in its success today. Nijazi Memeti and Yildirim Baskaya were honoured for their impressive were honoured for their impressive 40 years of service, while other employees were honoured for 20, 25, 30 and even even 35 years were honoured.

• Heiko Kern, Kayhan Baskaya, Michael Büttner (30 years each)
• Jan Niezgoda, Heinz Schauberger, Michael Berting and Michael Behr (25 and 35 years respectively)
• Michael Drews from Neukirch was honoured (20 years) and many others who have made a significant contributed significantly to the company's success.

Past and future
